Who are the Friends?

The Friends of the Bennington Area Libraries is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the interest and welfare of the Bennington area libraries. We

  • Support the libraries and promote literacy
  • Raise funds to enhance library services and programs
  • Encourage community involvement

What do the Friends do?

Members of the Friends of the Bennington Area Libraries are involved in a variety of efforts that benefit our area libraries.  Members can sign up to help with

  • The Summer Reading Program
  • Book Sales
  • Festival of Trees*
  • Library Clean-up Days

And other opportunities as they arise.

The Friends of the Bennington Area Libraries is a 501(3)c public charity.  The organization manages funds intended for the benefit of area libraries. These funds are raised through Book Sales, solicitation of contributions, and donations and gifts from businesses, families and individuals.
