In 1992, a group of library patrons banded together to form an organization, Friends of the Bennington Area Libraries, to promote the interest and welfare of the Bennington Area Libraries.
Bennington has grown from a village to a city, and the area and people served by the Bennington area libraries have grown tremendously.
As the population grows, so do the needs of the libraries…
